I thoroughly enjoyed working with Habitat+, from the project idea conception, through the build and now admiring the finished project, they have been a joy to work with. Excellent communication, conscientious planning, tasteful design, environmentally considerate and on budget! I take great satisfaction knowing that we will be working together again in the near future.

I have had the pleasure of working with Habitat+ since the practice was formed. I have worked closely with Tim on a number of high profile projects on Grade II and II* listed buildings.

The projects have been extremely complex in their nature, not least due to the constraints of working on listed properties. Habitat+ have provided exceptional architectural services throughout and have helped us deliver these projects on time, on budget and to an incredibly high standard, all whilst complying with the requirements of the conservation officer.

We continue to work with Habitat+ on a number of projects, including development of a 10 year Masterplan, and they are a key and trusted partner of the School.

Habitat+ guided us through the process of renovating and reconfiguring our 200 or so year old house, and we were so impressed with and grateful for their expertise and professionalism throughout. Whether it was creating various plan options for a new kitchen/living area or enhancing the energy efficiency of the building using appropriate materials and contractors, we felt absolutely safe in their hands, able to work together on designs, providing us with a very clear and detailed spec for our builders to work to, ensuring the quality was spot on and achieving the result we wanted, and we’re delighted with the result: on schedule and on budget. It was great to work with Tim and the team - huge thanks!

Passivhaus

This is Anchorage

It is a carefully crafted, innovative and pre-fabricated contemporary certified Passivhaus set in the heart of the Wyre Piddle Conservation Area.

It’s a house which maintains a comfortable internal temperature all year round, regardless of whether there's a heat wave outside or snow on the ground.

It does this using the sun as the primary heat source - there is no central heating system.

It is a true healthy home, with a pollen and pollutant free internal environment.

And it does this for around one tenth of the energy consumption of the equivalent house built only to a building regulations standard, for around six percent extra cost - approximately an eight year payback.
